Rise and Shine: The Early Bird Gets the Cool Air

My day as a technician at Duke’s Air Conditioning and Heating starts bright and early at 6:30 AM. After a quick breakfast and coffee, I’m out the door by 7:15, ready to tackle the day’s challenges in Tequesta, Jupiter, and the surrounding areas.

8:00 AM: First Call of the Day

My first appointment is an AC service in Palm Beach Gardens. I arrive at the customer’s home, greet them warmly, and begin my inspection. This routine maintenance call involves:

  • Checking refrigerant levels
  • Cleaning or replacing air filters
  • Inspecting electrical connections
  • Lubricating moving parts

10:30 AM: Emergency Air Conditioner Repair

I receive an urgent call from dispatch about a broken AC unit in Jupiter. The summer heat is unforgiving, so I rush to the location. After diagnosing the issue, I discover a faulty capacitor. Luckily, I have the part on hand, and within an hour, cool air is flowing once again.

1:00 PM: Lunch Break and Team Check-in

I take a quick lunch break and touch base with the office. We discuss the day’s progress and any upcoming HVAC installation projects.

2:00 PM: HVAC Installation Consultation

My afternoon takes me to Lake Park for a consultation on a new HVAC system. I assess the home’s layout, discuss the homeowner’s needs, and provide recommendations for an energy-efficient solution.

4:30 PM: Final Service Call in Juno Beach

My last stop of the day is in Juno Beach for an air conditioner service. The customer’s unit isn’t cooling efficiently, so I perform a thorough cleaning and minor repairs to improve its performance.

6:00 PM: Wrapping Up

As I head back to the office in Hobe Sound, I reflect on another satisfying day of helping our community stay cool and comfortable. At Duke’s Air Conditioning and Heating, we pride ourselves on providing top-notch service across Palm Beach County and beyond.

Before calling it a day, I restock my truck, complete paperwork, and prepare for tomorrow’s adventures in the world of HVAC.
